AKTIFMAG is a satirical and analytical look at popular and unpopular culture that started as a zine in 2000. AKTIFMAG was lucky enough to get selected for the National Film and Sound Archive and the National Library Of Australia a few years ago. But then again even Brodie [a guy in Big Brother 7] was popular a few years ago. This site  features a mix of archived and new stuff.

When is it updated?

Every Wednesday. It was sometimes every few days sometimes every few months. Due to market research indicating that Wednesdays were shithouse we decided we couldn’t make them any worse. And when I say update that doesn’t mean a new post. Usually stuff like ‘AFL Players in Love’.

What’s your problem?

Besides the obvious, not much else. AKTIFMAG is just a bit of fun that has no agenda or editorial guidelines.

Can I get a back issue?

Maybe, the National Library has some and there’s others floating around, especially in the toilets of people’s houses.

Who does it?

The Head Honcho is Kane Ludic.
